Here at Visioncare Associates we want the best for our patients eyes. We would like to share with you our newest ophthalmic instrument the OCT- Optical Coherence Topography! The OCT is a non-invasive instrument that evaluates the structure of the retina by taking a 3D picture to determine retinal health issues, such as, macular degeneration and glaucoma. These images enable a more precise visualization of vascular structure and pathology of the eye, not to mention, it helps Dr. Shily with analyzing and fitting of specialty contact lenses, such as, scleral lenses for keratoconic patients.
